The following information is about File.
File Defined
A record of the court. In general, "file" or "filing" denotes acceptance, for official custody, by the clerk's office of a document by affixing the court filing stamp which shows the name of the court, clerk and the date and time of filing. This document will then be docketed and placed in the proper court file containing all pleading, summons, subpoenas pertaining to that case.
